Ego Coffee Table

The Ego Coffee Table is actually a trolley table, which can be moved easily. This coffee table has a wheel placed at its bottom with two levers crafted on the edge. Just lift it and glide it anywhere you wish to place it. Now you don’t have to call a friend to move a table, cause the ego coffee table solved this problem, and the design is looking good, plus you never know when you’ll have to occasion to use it to carry stuff. :)
The price for the Ego Coffee Table is £199 .

subwoofer chair

This subwoofer chair has an interesting design, but I don’t know if his designer Jacob Mathew has decided to actually produce this chair. The musical chair features a calcium carbonate poly-coned woofer seated in the belly of the chair to let you experience musical sensations while you are dining, watching TV or doing anything on it.

Circle Chair

The Circle Chair is a laminated ring with stretched, wide-meshed net. One of the experiments that proved to be an international success. The Circle Chair was Wegner and PP Møbler’s contribution to the SE Exhibition in 1986. And, as usual, the prototype was not completed before the very last moment – the morning of the show to be exact. Consequently, the chair was rushed of to the show by master of crafts Ejnar Pedersen in his car – which happened to break down on the way. The chair has a really interesting design, and I see it as an exceptional piece of outdoor furniture.

Apple Chair

You might remember the Zanotta 884 Evolution Chair By Ora Ito. This chair seemed to be inspired by apple products. Today we have another chair from this range, but he also have the name : Apple Chair. I’m wonderig if Apple brand will have something to say about this. From this picture the chair looks to geeky for me, and the price tag is also to much for a chair 1200 €

Popup Chair

Popup Chair is a simple chair designed by Alain Berteau & Charlotte Lancelot. They started this project with a complex concept, but in the end they obtained “a block of foam cut in half.” An interesting design that can be easily packet an moved, and also if you want you can use it like a little table that can be transformed in this chair when you need it.

Fashionable Chair

Designed by Marcello Ziliani for Casprini, an Italian company, this chair and table collection is fashionable and modern. With an elegant shape and a classy black and white color palette, the set can be easily integrated in various arrangements.

Burj Al Arab

the only 7 star hotel in the world and with services and amenities enough to pamper even the gods, the Burj Al Arab could justify charging visitors an entry fee of around Rs.5000 ($100 approx).
After the scenic tour, if you are enticed to spend more time here, your options start from a modest Rs.50,000 (1000$ approx) and extend to a substantial 13 lakh ($28,000 approx) per night.

The Burj Al Arab was constructed by WS Atkins Partners Overseas, with concept architect Mr Thomas Wills Wright, and the interior design was handled by a team from KCA International, led by Ms Kuan Chew.

Helix Hotel - in Abu Dhabi’s

many eminent architects pitched in their concepts for the Helix Hotel in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Bay. Leeser Architects won the competetion and here is their winning design.

A peculiarity of this concept hotel design is that doesn’t have floors like we’re used to – instead it spirals in sections of a corkscrew from top to bottom with no clear breaks, flowing from retail to residential, and hotel suites to saunas. The design promises to make maximum use of renewable sources of energy like sun, wind, and ocean water while keeping

Style NYC - Small Kitchen

Here's a picture of small New York City apartment kitchen, well, one side of it. The other side has the refrigerator and the range. Not being ready to redo the kitchen at this point, I wanted to make it appear larger (of course!) The floor was a busy terracotta lineoleum, so that was the first to go. In its place is another vinyl floor, as we did not want to do something major right now, but wanted something special. Here's what we used: Chilewich Plynyl in the wheat color, not as "green" a product as I had hoped, but they say they are close. It adds function and a big dose of light and calm.

Oddly, rather than using a light paint, which was what was in the kitchen, an ivory (ick), I thought I'd experiment with medium to dark shades of paint. The paint chosen is very close to the (granite grained) formica countertop, so there is a flow there. The upper ceiling section was painted this dark color too, with just the lower ceiling section being a near white. This way, there is a flow in the upper section.

We are keeping the cabinets right now. They are light, which is helpful to the space with a minimal design. Add lots of lights, colorful accents, and it looks larger than it is.

Lesson: Don't always think that you need only light paint to expand a space. If you have other elements of light, in this case, a light floor, lots of lights, and light cabinetry, then a darker background can tie it all in and look just as expansive, and more interesting. Lights below the wall cabinets would be a great addition.

Do you have a small kitchen? I'd love to hear about it.

Kitchen Accessories

Using fancy salt and pepper shakers add a bit of spice to your dining experience and if you are into this sort of thing, you could consider starting a collection. Here are some novel ideas for salt and pepper shakers that we came across.

curved kitchens

By looking at these curved and modern kitchens in the Venere collection by Record Cucine, it is understandable why most women (sometime even men) need an appropriate design for their kitchen. The Venere kitchens set a fresh mood for your cooking space and thanks to their ergonomic design they also provide great functionality. Available within a wide range of colors from bright white and red to more natural magnolia and iron, the new kitchens are outfitted with a folded transparent glass table on external side so that eating won’t interfere with cooking. More to it, all versions come packed with a sink and a cooking surface so you don’t need to spend some more for those additional features. That definitely got us hungry in here …

flowers chair

Designed elegantly and exquisitely by Patricia Urquiola, the new range of outdoor furniture by B&B Italia is something that your lawn and patio would drool over in joy. The Crinoline Collection merges stylish design with sensuous pattern as the furniture made out of natural fibers steals the spotlight with its intricate forms. The symmetrical structure and the ample space they offer also goes well with the spacious outdoor look that is crafted out of eco-friendly materials, merging well with the green. The basket at the bottom seems to accentuate the beauty of the collection and if you throw in a few cushions, then you can enjoy the summers in the fresh breeze outside with ample comfort.
